Welcome to my blog page. All business aside, this is where I freely and openly share my thoughts, perspectives, and a little poetry. From memories and lessons learned, to perspectives gained from the life, love and teachings of Christ, this is where I enjoy sharing it all. It’s my quite corner of the web where I prioritize calm over chaos, purpose over production, and reflection over reaction. There is no hurry here. Take your time and enjoy!

An old chicken coop
Worn and unsightly
Or a castle in the sun
Shining so brightly
Depends how you see it
Your perspective on things
As for those on the roof
It’s a castle for kings

Not a sound on the Lake
Not a word being spoken
Water like glass
Clear and unbroken
In comes the loon
With beauty and class
Breaking the silence
And breaking the glass

Tucked Away
Hidden and shy
A bird to be
One day will fly
And when it does
It worries not
Of what it needs
Or what it’s got

Painting whitetails
A childhood dream
A dream to chase
Or so it seemed
Till letting go
That dream of old
New dreams became
To watch unfold

On shimmering water
With glassy reflection
Bubbles afloat
In fragile perfection
The bubbles will burst
Be suddenly gone
But now in full bloom
The rose will float on
